In 1986, B. Smith opened her first restaurant at Eighth Avenue and 47th Street in New York's Theater District. Her eponymous restaurant then moved to its current location on Restaurant Row at 320 West 46th Street in 1999, where it is celebrating its 25th anniversary this November.
